On November 19, 2018, a $375M investment in Dun & Bradstreet Corp. a trailblazer in commercial data, analytics and business insights was approved by the Black Knight Board of Directors.
Companies of all sizes, all over the world have been using Dun & Bradstreet since 1841 to increase business operations. Dun & Bradstreet provides assistance by forming connections between suppliers, prospects, partners and clients that really count.
The investment consortium to secure Dun & Bradstreet is led by CC Capital a private investment firm, Thomas H. Lee Partners in private equity, and Cannae Holdings a diversified holding company is now joined by Black Knight.
Once the acquisition is finalized Anthony Jabbour, Black Knight’s Chief Executive Officer will take on the role of CEO of Dun & Bradstreet as well as maintain his position at Black Knight. In addition, Executive Chairman of Black Knight, William Foley II, will serve on the Dun & Bradstreet Board of Directors as Executive Chairman.

The acquisition of Dun & Bradstreet is expected to close within the first quarter of 2019. Under 20 percent of the newly acquired, Dun & Bradstreet will be owned by Black Knight
Shares of Dun & Bradstreet common stock will not be available to be traded on the New York Stock Exchange, as it will continue on as a privately held company after the acquisition has been finalized.
