The iOS version is yet in beta-build stage and developers are exploring the version’s various assets.

 CarPlay

The adoption of CarPlay as the default infotainment dashboard by the automobile industry is crucial to Apple. The transition to ‘connected’ transport and personal commute is blurring the edge between offline and online activities in automobiles, driving Apple’s ambitions to build end-to-end integrated services.

Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) has improved its CarPlay features – and Apple Music and Maps are more seamlessly integrated.  Music app on CarPlay includes two sections on iOS 9.3 – New and For You. Maps is upgraded with Nearby Feature, allow car users to find amenities such as parking or gas, coffee, restaurants and more things.

Apple’s list of auto manufacturers featuring CarPlay is long and high profile. It includes Audi, Ferrari, Cadillac, GMC, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Chevrolet.

Apple Watch

A single Apple Watch can be paired with multiple iPhones with the latest iOS release beta. The Health app, which is a built feature on the Watch is now tweaked to work with third-party apps for weight tracking, workouts and sleep.

Night Light

However, the highlight of Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) latest operating system update is the inclusion of the ‘Night Shift’ feature.

Scientific studies indicated that the light which devices emit, called Blue Light, disturbs sleep patterns. In order to cancel this effect companies have included the software feature which lowers the display colors on devices to shift towards warmer color spectrum, after detecting geolocation sunset. Eventually blue light is filtered out, allowing the body to produce the much needed melatonin for sleeping.

Much before Apple, Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) introduced Night Light, Amazon.com, Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) added Blue Shade to their OS updates.
